Eight Simple Things You do Everyday to “Heal” Yourself In Less Than One Minute


Healing is not about finding something that is “wrong” and fixing it. This will keep you stuck in trying to fix everything. Remember, that what you focus on, you expand.

Shift your focus from healing all that’s wrong, to being pure and whole. Wholeness is the goal, and purity just means that you don’t have any blocks in your energy field.

Daily practices that are short and effective will make a huge difference in the way that you feel. The way that you feel determines the quality of your life. These practices will improve your life! Eventually, these little habits will become a way of being.

  1. Smile at your aura. Simply close your eyes for a moment or two, and breathe in the space of your heart. Then, see and feel your energy field all around you, and smile at it. This will actually positively change your energy field.

  2. Smile at the aura of others. The same principle applies to others. When you change the way that you interact with other people on an energetic level, you change your relationship with them. Smiling at other’s auras is a great way to increase good feelings between you, AND when you send good energy out into the world, you are then surrounded by good energy.

  3. Heart coherence. If I could choose only one thing on this list to do every day, it would definitely be getting into, and maintaining a state of heart coherence. This balanced state of your body, heart, and mind is very simple to achieve. You don’t need to close your eyes, you can do this while interacting with others and while living your every day life, doing dishes, while in a work meeting etc. Start by bringing attention to your heart and breathe in and out through the center of your chest, as if there is a hole there. Once you’ve established this breath, feel a positive emotion in the heart center. My favorite to feel is gratitude. That’s it. Then your job is to return to your heart over and over.

  4. Grounding! This is something that is so easy to do and will help to alleviate SO many problems. If you’re feeling exhausted during the day and you can’t figure out why, it could very well be because you are not grounded. When you’re not grounded, you’re scattering your energy (your thoughts and feelings) into the past, future and all over the world. Your energy is not in your own body!!! To bring your energy back to you is very simple, inhale and draw your energy back to you. Do this for about 30 seconds or so, and then as you exhale, release all that no longer serves down your spinal column and let it fall into the earth. This is not only something you are visualizing, you have to feel it.

  5. Shift into higher perception. Take one minute to do this. Simply ask for help with this, say to the divine “Show me how this situation or ailment is a blessing”. Repeat this phrase, with sincerity, again and again. You may not be shown in that moment, but you will be shown. Then, don’t try to fix it the thing you want to be healed, but instead - embrace it as a blessing and a miracle. Remind yourself that you don’t need to know how it’s a blessing and a miracle, you just need to know that it is.

  6. Send out friendly energy into the universe. When you wake up in the morning, extend your consciousness out into the world, and feel as if you are hugging the entire planet. Hold the intention for the highest good for all living beings in your heart. Really FEEL that love for them, and then ask to encounter only kind, helpful people and situations today.

  7. Ask to be restored to perfection as you sleep. This is as simple as it sounds. When you sleep, your body is repairing all of the damage that it incurred during the day. Help it out by giving a command to your ultra powerful subconscious mind. Simply say, “While I sleep tonight, restore my body to perfection”. You can also ask for situations or relationships to be restored to perfection. Don’t be afraid to ask.

  8. Bless your body before getting out of bed and before you fall asleep. Every student I have knows that this is an absolute non-negotiable for me. Every single morning, before I leave the bed, I bless my body, I bless my day, and I bless my life. You can do this by simply seeing and feeling your loving consciousness filling your body, and then extending out into your day and then into your life. Feel love (the feeling is more important than anything else) for your body, your day, and your life. Feel thankful that it is already blessed. Then do this at night. Bless your body, your day tomorrow and your life.
